How does a micro DC motor work
Look at the following components and workflow motor:
Consisting of DC motor: stator and rotor components.
The stator includes: a main pole, base, commutation pole, brush devices.
Rotor comprising: an armature core, armature windings, commutator, shaft and fan.
DC motor principle: When the armature turned 180 °, conductor cd go to the N pole, the conductor ab go to the S pole at the time, since the current direction of the DC power supply remains unchanged, still from the brush A the inflow, via a conductor after cd, ab, B flowing from the brush. Then the conductor cd force direction changes from right to left, the conductor ab force direction is from left to right, the direction of the electromagnetic torque generated remain in the counterclockwise direction. Thus, upon rotation of the armature, since the commutator with brushes for commutation of an electric current, direct current alternately flows into the conductor ab and cd, so long as the coil sides in the N pole, the direction by which the electrical current is always a flowing direction of the brush, while pole at S, always flowing from the brush B direction. This ensures that each pole at the edge of the coil current is always in one direction, so as to form a constant direction of torque, the motor can be continuously rotated.
